Cobras in Fourth After Day One of Bearcat Invitational

GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team shot rounds of 295 and 296 on day one of the Bearcat Invitational. Coker's 36-hole team score of 591 leaves the Cobras in fourth on the team leaderboard going into the final round.

Taylor Ingle and Will Bundy led the way for the Navy and Gold on day one. Ingle is in seventh on the individual leaderboard, after rounds of 74 and 71. Bundy is in a tie for thirteenth, firing rounds of 71 and 75. Ethan Cairns and Matt Moninghoff shot rounds of 74 and 76 on the opening day, while Wanjoo Lee signed off on back-to-back rounds of 77.

Lander, the host, sits atop the team leaderboard, after rounds of 295 and 289 for a 584 team score. Michal Pospisil of Lander is the individual overnight leader. He shot rounds of 70 and 67.

Final round tee times will begin Tuesday (Mar. 28) morning at Greenwood Country Club.
