Cobras In Fourth After Day One of SAC Preview

SALISBURY, N.C. – The Coker College men's golf team sits in fourth place after day one of the SAC Preview, posting an opening round team score of 295.

Wanjoo Lee led the way for the Navy and Gold, signing off on an opening round of 72. Lee is in a tie for sixth on the individual leaderboard going into the final 18 holes. Taylor Ingle and Will Bundy both sit in the top 15 on the individual leaderboard, Ingle shooting an opening round 73, while Bundy fired a 74 on day one. Ethan Cairns is in a tie for 24th after shooting a 76 on day one. Matt Moninghoff rounded out the Coker starting lineup, signing off on an 81 in his college debut.

Queens University of Charlotte shot a team score of 289 on day one, holding a three-shot lead over second place North Greenville University. Brad Robinson of Lenoir-Rhyne shot a three-under par round of 68. He is the individual overnight leader.

Final round tee times will begin Tuesday morning (Feb. 28) at the Country Club of Salisbury.
