Cobras Take Ninth at State Farm Intercollegiate; Lee Places Sixth Individually

TAZEWELL, TENN. – The Coker College men's golf team shot a final round score of 291 to vault into a ninth place finish at the State Farm Intercollegiate. The Cobras finished with a tournament score of 895.

Wanjoo Lee led the way for the Navy and Gold, shooting a final round 68 and finishing in a tie for sixth place with a tournament score of 214. Taylor Ingle and Ethan Cairns both finished with tournament totals of 225. Ingle fired a final round 72, while Cairns carded a round of 76. Nicholas Beiers signed off on a final round score of 75, leaving him with a tournament score of 237, while Will Bundy shot a final round 84 and a tournament score of 242.

Lincoln Memorial University took home the team title with a team score of 855. Weston Bell of Anderson University was the medalist, shooting rounds of 71, 70 and 69.

The Cobras will not be back in action until Feb. 27, when they travel to the SAC Preview in Salisbury, N.C.
