Cobras in Twelfth After Day One of State Farm Intercollegiate

TAZEWELL, TENN, - The Coker College men's golf team sits in twelfth place after day one of the State Farm Intercollegiate. The Cobras fired rounds of 301 and 303 on their way to a 36-hole team score of 604.

Wanjoo Lee led the way with rounds of 74 and 72. Lee's 146 two-round total is good enough for a tie for 19th on the individual leaderboard. Ethan Cairns continued his steady play, shooting rounds of 75 and 74, leaving him in a tie for 25th. Taylor Ingle finished with a day one score of 153, thanks to rounds of 75 and 78, while Will Bundy signed off on rounds of 77 and 81. Nicholas Beiers rounded things out for the Navy and Gold, carding rounds of 83 and 79.

The host school, Lincoln Memorial University, is atop the team leaderboard. The Railsplitters shot rounds of 292 and 277 for a 569 tournament score.

The final round will begin Tuesday morning (Oct. 11) from Woodlake Golf Club.
