Cobras in Fifteenth After First Round of Aflac/Cougar Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Cobra men's golf team opened play at the Aflac/Cougar Invitational on Monday (Sept. 29) by firing a 306 (+22) and a 289 (+5) in the first two rounds of action. A team total of 595 (+27) puts Coker in 15th place with 18-holes still to play on Tuesday (Sept. 30).

Will Bundy leads the way for the Cobras after signing off on a 75 (+3) and a 74 (+2). Blake Baysden follows after carding an 80 (+8) and a 71 (-1), while Jonathan Sundstrom shot an 82 (+10) and a 70 (-2). Alex Rios added a 77 (+5) and a 78 (+6) and John Duke rounded out the field for the Cobras with two rounds of 78 (+6).

Columbus State and Lander University are tied the lead after the first day with a two-round total of 565 (-3).  Lander's James Bartlett and Clayton State's Henry Gee are the individual leaders with scores of 134 (-8).
