Coker Golf Takes Ninth at Bearcat Classic

NINETY SIX, S.C. – The Coker men's golf team finished in ninth place after a 54-hole team total of 903 at the Bearcat Classic on Sunday (Mar. 23.)

Leading the field for the Cobras was senior Josh Clay, who shot a three round total of 225.  His score was good enough to earn a top-25 finish on the individual score card.  Following close behind was Christopher Fuga and Will Bundy with scores of 226 and 227, respectively.  Zane Price and Blake Baysden would then round out the five with scores of 233 and 234. 

Taking home the title was Georgia College and State University, with a three round team total of 873. 

The Cobras will be back in action on March 29th, as they travel to compete in the UNC Pembroke Intercollegiate.
