Valdosta, GA- The Coker Golf Team is in 8th place after day one of the Valdosta State Invitational. The Cobras are tied with Eckerd College with a combined score of 299. The University of West Florida is currently leading the tournament with a score of 287.

 

Leading the Coker is senior Gary Morgan in 15th place with a score of 73, followed by Johary Raveloarison is just a stroke behind Morgan with a 74. Vincent Dumouchel shot a first round 76, along with Blaine Rogers who also shot a 76. Beniot Gordon finished the first round by shooting a 77.

 

Coker returns the links on Monday for the second round of the of the Valdosta State Invitational.
