ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Coker College men's basketball player Khalil Halls has been selected to the  2018-19 Men's Basketball Preseason All-Conference Second Team.

Halls, a senior from Vance, S.C., started 28 games for the Cobras last season, averaging 14.4 points per game while knocking down 37.3% of his three-point attempts. He was previously selected Male Newcomer of the Year at the 2018 FANG Awards.

Halls established himself as one of the premier outside shooting threats in the South Atlantic Conference last season, ranking fourth overall in three-pointers made per game (3.0). His best performance of the season came against Mars Hill when he hit six three-pointers and tallied 22 points in Coker's 92-84 victory.

Halls is the son of Tera Benjamin, and is a business management major.

The Cobras kick off their season on Nov. 13 when they host the Barton Bulldogs in the DeLoach Center. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
