Coker Men's Basketball Takes on Non-Conference Foe Limestone

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's basketball team will take on non-conference foe, the Limestone College Saints, on Saturday (Nov. 18) afternoon at 4 p.m. Live stats and video for the game will be available at www.cokercobras.com. 

The Navy and Gold head into tomorrow's game with three players averaging double digit numbers in points per game (ppg). Khalil Halls leads Coker averaging 18 ppg, while Donte Samuels has accumulated 14 ppg, followed by Jake Barrett who has recorded 12.3 ppg. On the defensive end, Samuels has anchored the Cobras with a team-leading 6.7 rebounds per game and two steals per game. Larry Cooper is another Cobra to watch, averaging 8.7 ppg and bringing down five rebounds per game. 

Limestone enters tomorrow's game with a 3-0 record. The Saints have defeated three South Atlantic Conference opponents that include Wingate (87-74), Mars Hill (106-92), and Anderson (80-71). Kenny Hairston leads the Saints with 22 points per game. 

As mentioned, opening tip is set for 4 p.m. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free to all Coker faculty, staff, and students.
