HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College men's basketball player Donte Samuels has been named to the South Atlantic Conference all-conference team, the league office announced today. Samuels was named to the All-SAC honorable mention team.

Samuels, a junior forward from Rocky Mount, N.C., played in 23 games, starting in 21 of them. He averaged a team-high 15.6 points on nearly 43 percent shooting. He also shot over 38 percent from three and 73.6 percent from the charity stripe. On the glass, he corralled 5.5 rebounds per game. His points and rebounds per game averages are both in the top-25 in the SAC and this is the third consecutive All-SAC honor he has earned.

Samuels is a business major and is the son of Seora Samuels-Harris and Henry Harris.
