Cobras Open 2015-16 Season at SAC/Conference Challenge

DUE WEST, S.C. – The Coker College men's basketball team will begin the 2015-16 season on Friday (Nov. 13) at 4 p.m. at the South Atlantic Conference/Conference Carolinas Challenge. The tournament will be taking place at Erskine College in Due West, S.C. The Cobras will take on North Greenville University on Friday, then turnaround to take on the Flying Fleet of Erskine College at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 14). Preseason second team All-SAC selection Donte Samuels headlines the Coker roster. The junior averaged 13.8 points per game last season. 

The Crusaders of North Greenville University are coming off a 22-10 record last season and a trip to the NCAA Regional Tournament. They are led by Korval McElroy, who averaged 12.3 points per game last season.

The Flying Fleet finished last season with 9-20 overall record. Ray Lock is Erskine's top returner; he averaged 13.3 points per game last season.

All games will be played at Belk Arena in Due West, S.C.
