Coker Men Looking to Stay Hot Versus North Greenville

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Cobra men's basketball team will be looking to extend their home winning streak to four games when they take the floor on Saturday (Jan. 5) against the Crusaders of North Greenville. Live video coverage of the game will be available online at www.cokercobras.com.

Coker (5-4, 3-1) has won five of their last six games, including a 79-74 victory over Erskine on Thursday (Jan. 3). Julian Nelson had a career night scoring 34 points, 15 of which came from 3-point range. Sharod Williams earned his third double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Andrew Morris added 11 points to the Cobra efforts. Coker is currently in third place in the Conference Carolinas standings.

North Greenville enters the game with a record of 4-3 overall and 1-2 in league play. It has been some time since the Crusaders played a game. They defeated Warren Wilson 102-96 back on Dec. 11. Tyshawn Patterson and his league leading 25.4 points per game lead North Greenville.

Tip-off is slated for 4 p.m. following the women's game at 2 p.m.
