Coker Falls to Division I UNC Wilmington 62-47

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Andrew Morris scored a team high 12 points in the Cobra's 62-47 loss to Division I UNC Wilmington on Wednesday evening in men's baseball action.

A low scoring affair, both team struggled offensively in the opening stanza, as Wilmington took a 27-22 lead into the break. The Seahawks took advantage of Coker's shooting woes in the second half and pulled away with a 62-47 victory.

The Cobra bench outscored UNCW 17-10, while nine different Coker players registered points.

Julian Nelson finished the night with nine points, while Austin Harper had six points and six rebounds. Eren Moses also scored six points and Sharod Williams pulled down six boards.

Coker will return to the court on Saturday, Dec. 15 against Mount Olive for their first home game of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Coker's Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
