High Point, N.C. – Coker College's Andrew Morris has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas men's basketball Player of the Week during week number 12 of the 2011-2012 season.

Morris was an offensive powerhouse for the Cobras this week as he led Coker to a pair of Conference Carolinas victories over Barton and Belmont Abbey. Against Barton, Morris scored 17 points, including 12 from three-point range as the Cobras picked up their first win at the "Dog House" since 1995. Then against Belmont Abbey, the junior from Melbourne, Australia was unstoppable from long range. He scored 18 of his 24 points against the Abbey from three-point land. For the week he averaged 20.5 points and six rebounds, extending Coker's winning streak to three games.
