Cobras Rally Late to Defeat Coastal Georgia 59-56

BRUNSWICK, Ga.- Sophomore guard Avery Harris (Lancaster, S.C.) put home what turned out to the be the game winning basket with just 15 seconds remaining in Coker's 59-56 win over the College of Coastal Georgia Saturday night.

The victory over the Mariners was the Cobras' fourth in a row and their second straight over Coastal Georgia. Coker is now 6-2 on the year.

Coker held a slim three point lead at the break, 29-26, but Coastal Georgia controlled the second half. Trailing by as much as seven points, the Cobras battled their way back to pick up the 59-56 victory.

Sophomore Julian Nelson (Irmo, S.C.) was Coker's scoring leader with 19 points, including 12 from the charity stripe with five rebounds. Junior Austin Harper (Chesnee, S.C.) added 14 points and nine boards, while fellow junior Sharod Williams (Miami, Fla.) had eight points and a game high 13 rebounds.
