DUE WEST, S.C. - The Cobra men's basketball team picked up their third Conference Carolinas victory in a row on Thursday night with a 68-57 win over Erskine College. Coker (8-9, 5-6 Conf. Carolinas) had four players score in double figures leading them to victory, while Erskine's (6-11, 3-8 Conf. Carolinas) Brandon Wright scored a game high 24 points.

Coker started the game with a dominating first half performance, out scoring the Flying Fleet 37-16, but Erskine returned with a vengeance in the second half, out scoring the Cobras 41-31. Unfortunately for Erskine it was a case of too like too late, as even with a much better second half, the Cobras still came out on top.

Vatrick Thompson (Columbia, S.C.) had a team high 18 points for Coker, while Mason Ambler (Atlanta, Ga.) had 13 points and seven rebounds. Thomas Wright (Sydney, Australia) and Liam Kyle (Cleveland, Ohio) also scored in double figures, with Wright netting 12 points and Kyle putting in 10 points. Wright also pulled down five rebounds in the game.

Erskine's Wright scored his game high 24 points with the help of 18 points from beyond the arc, while Jay Boulware added 16 points to the Fleet's efforts.

Coker returns to action on Saturday, when they host Belmont Abbey College at 4:00 p.m. at Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
