Hartsville, SC- The Mount Olive Trojans had five players score in double figures, including one double-double, as they rolled to victory on the road 95-68 against the Coker Cobras. In a game laced with numerous fouls, both Coker (3-8, 0-5 CVAC) and Mount Olive (9-4, 3-3 CVAC) had 27 fouls apiece.

 

The Trojans Brandon Streeter came off the bench to record the games lone double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Leading all scorers was Elijah Rouse with 22 points and eight rebounds, while Elton Coffield had 18 points and five rebounds. Mike Holloway and Josh Brown were the other two double digit scores for Mount Olive, with Holloway finishing with 13 and Brown finishing with 10.

 

Coker was led by Lukas Varga with 18 points and three assists, while Jason Fulwood had 16 points. Ryan Fulwood completed the game with 10 points and four rebounds.

 

Coker is still looking for that illusive first CVAC win. They will continue that hunt as they travel to Belmont Abbey College on Saturday, January 13. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
