Sumter, SC- The Coker College Men’s Basketball three-point “Bomb Squad” was in full swing again last night as the Cobras faced the Morris College Hornets. The “Bomb Squad” dropped 13 of 20 three-pointers on the Hornets, shooting 65 percent from beyond the arc. Leading the way was senior squadron leader Jason Fulwood, who was a perfect six for six from three-point land, led all scorers with 22 points, in the 72-57 Cobra victory.

 

Coker (2-4) had three other players in double digits, Lukas Varga, Ben Brim and Abram Ludd. Varga finished the night with 14 points and four rebounds, while Brim had 13 points and four rebounds and Ludd completed the evening with 10 points and six rebounds.

 

As for Morris (4-7), Carlos Gore was the leader with 15 points and five rebounds, while Reshrond Tucker came away with 14 points and four rebounds.

 

The next game for the men will be on Monday, December 11, as they host North Greenville College at 7:30 p.m. in Coker’s Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
