Hartsville, SC- With a minute remaining in the game Johnny Jackson took a three point shot that missed, but Darian Kearney slammed the putback home and Coker was suddenly only down by three. However St. Andrews would regain a five point lead after Taiwon Grooms sank two free throws. Coker wouldn’t be held down for long, as Johnny Jackson would redeem himself as he sank a final three point shot and brought the Cobras to within two with 34 seconds remaining.

Unfortunately for the Cobras, two points was as close as they would come. Joseph Gripper sank a free throw and put the Knights up by three with 30 seconds to go and Coker would not be able to score again.

The Knights out shot the Cobras all night, shooting 53 percent from the floor, compared to Coker’s 37 percent. Coker out rebounded St. Andrews 37-27 and St. Andrews had 4 more turnovers than Coker.

Senior Darian Kearney/Alpharetta, GA, led all Coker scorers with a season high 14 points and eight rebounds, while junior Abram Ludd/Sumter, GA, added double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
