Unfortunately for the Cobras, two points was as close as they would come. Joseph Gripper sank a free throw and put the Knights up by three with 30 seconds to go and Coker would not be able to score again.
The Knights out shot the Cobras all night, shooting 53 percent from the floor, compared to Coker’s 37 percent. Coker out rebounded St. Andrews 37-27 and
Senior Darian Kearney/Alpharetta, GA, led all Coker scorers with a season high 14 points and eight rebounds, while junior Abram Ludd/Sumter, GA, added double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
