Amelia Gajewski and Victoria Watts given 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II Scholars of Distinction Award

GILBERT, Ariz. -- Coker College field hockey players Amelia Gajewski and Victoria Watts were recognized as 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II Scholars of Distinction, the NFHCA announced Tuesday (Mar. 26).

The Division II Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2018-19 academic year.

This follows last week's announcement that the Coker College field hockey team had six players named to the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad, and an earlier announcement that the team was given the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II National Academic Team Award for earning a team grade-point average over 3.0 during the fall semester of the 2018-19 school year.
