ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Kelly Mason of the Coker College field hockey team has garnered another accolade for her impressive performance last week. In addition to being named South Atlantic Conference Carolinas AstroTurf Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, Mason was selected to the latest Synapse Sports National Honor Roll released on Wednesday (Oct. 24).

Mason, a junior from Canastota, New York, led the Navy and Gold to a pair of conference victories last week, defeating Queens (4-3) and Newberry (5-1). The forward scored two goals, including the game winner, with an assist against Queens, while adding another goal and an assist versus Newberry. For the week she had three goals, with two assists for eight points.

The business major is the daughter of James and Colleen Mason.

Mason and the Cobras will look to extend their two-game win streak on Sunday (Oct. 28) when they travel to Seton Hill and take on the Griffins. Match time is set for 1 PM.
