Rock Hill, S.C. - South Atlantic Conference Carolinas announced its AstroTurf Field Hockey Players of the Week for matches played during the week of Oct. 15 through Oct. 21. Coker's Kelly Mason was named the Offensive Player of the Week for her standout performance last week.

Mason, a junior from Canastota, New York, led the Navy and Gold to a pair of conference victories last week, defeating Queens (4-3) and Newberry (5-1). The forward scored two goals, including the game winner, with an assist against Queens, while adding another goal and an assist versus Newberry. For the week she had three goals, with two assists for eight points. This is the first Offensive Player of the Week honor for Mason.

The business major is the daughter of James and Colleen Mason.
