Esports Falls to Lander

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University Esports lost a hard-fought game against Lander University by a score of 2-0 in the game of Valorant Wednesday night (Feb 16).

Lander won the first game 13-8 on the map of Coker's choice, Split and won the second game on the map of Ascent 13-5.

Devon Chapman highlighted in the Ascent map, clutching out some much needed rounds with the operator against the Lander  players. Additionally, Aaron Floyd showed his nerves of steel, rallying the team together to gain some much needed rounds. Though they suffered defeat, the team was much improved over their last match-up with the Bearcats.
