HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University ESports team concluded the 2020 Hearthstone season with a 3-1 win over Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Monday night (Nov. 16).

Coker brought their Rogue, Paladin and Hunter while WPI brought all OTK decks with Shaman, Warlock and Priest. The first match was Coker's Paladin against WPI's Shaman and Coker was able to keep minions on their board. WPI was able to heal past the damage to get to their combination to win game one.

The second game was Coker's Paladin against WPI's Warlock. WPI was able to survive through the mid-game but Coker was able to find lethal to equal the match at 1-1.

Game three was Coker's Hunter against WPI's Warlock. Coker was able to continously apply damage to take the 2-1 lead.

Coker's last deck was their Rogue and WPI decided to stick with their Warlock. Coker was able to keep the pressure to win the match 3-1. 

This concludes the 2020 Hearthstone season.
