HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University ESports team dropped its Varsity Division Hearthstone match to St. Claire Friday night (June 19) by a score of 3-0.

The first match was Coker's Demon Hunter against St. Claire's Hunter. Both decks rely on a strong early game and both teams traded the board advantage early. St Claire was able to consistently push face damage and then found Lava Burst through Zephrys for the win.

Game two was Coker's Demon Hunter against St. Claire's Warlock. It started off as a back and forth brawl, but St. Claire was able to find a win through Malygos' Spell Damage buff.

Game three was Coker's Hunter vs St. Claires Rogue. Again the game started on even strength, but St. Claire was able to get a lot of value out of their secrets and won game three to win the match 3-0. 

The Cobras are back in action for Varsity Division Hearthstone on Tuesday (June 23) against an opponent to be determined. The match is set for 8:00 p.m., with video available at www.cokercobras.com.
