HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker University ESports team defeated the University of Pikeville in Open Division Hearthstone Thursday night (June 18) by a score of 3-0. 

Game one saw Coker's Demon Hunter against Pikeville's Warrior. Although Coker was unable to find a win last week with their deck, they were able to find the early victory and go up 1-0. 

In game two, Coker bought their Druid deck and Pikeville decided on Hunter. Coker was able to find the spells needed to end the game and went up 2-0 in the match.

Coker then had to win with their last deck Warrior, with which they failed to find a win on Tuesday. Pikeville decided to go with Hunter again, but was still unable to find them a win and Coker won the match 3-0. 

The Cobras are back in action tomorrow (Friday, June 19) in Varsity Division Hearthstone. The match begins at 8:00 p.m., with video available at www.cokercobras.com.
