GAME 1

Coker managed to score a run in the third inning, but it was not enough to overcome Catawba's lead. Despite adding another run in the seventh inning, Coker was unable to mount a comeback. Ethan Payment scored the last run for the Cobras after reaching earlier on a walk. 

On the pitching side, Catawba's C. Hales, C. Gouge, and H. Simmerson combined for a strong performance, limiting Coker to just two runs on seven hits. Hales picked up the win, while Simmerson recorded the save.
