Wilson, NC. - Headed to North Carolina to take on the Barton Bulldogs. The Cobras were looking to pick themselves up after last night's loss in extras. Coker looked strong as they put up 13 on Barton as they went on to win 13-9.
Jaylen Mack got things rolling for Coker in just the 2nd inning he had a sacrifice fly deep enough to drive in Kody Hanna. Ashby Vining at the top of the 3rd with bases loaded was hit by a pitch and Nick Leonard reached home as Coker went up 2-0. The Bulldogs scored in the fourth but Hanna came up the very next inning hitting a ball up the middle scoring Leonard as they went up 3-1. Eli Hopkins found an opening scoring Donavan Frayer and Hanna as the Cobras built on their lead 5-1. Mack doubled down the line scoring Vining making the score 6-1. Frayer singled up the middle scoring Cameron Ferrell. Mack and Adam Wilkerson both walked driving in Frayer and Vining. The Bulldogs came back to put up 7 runs cutting into the lead 9-7. Hanna tripled down the line scoring Wilkerson, Leonard, and Yarberry taking control of the game and going up 12-7. Zack Wall singled into center field as Hanna scored making it 13-7. Coker went on to win and Cooper Thomas got the win on the mound for the Cobras.
