Baseball Defeated by Catawba

SALISBURY, N.C. - The Coker baseball team fell in midweek action on the road at Catawba College by a 14-0 score.

Catawba took a lead in the bottom of the third inning and never looked back, as they recorded 15 hits and 14 runs on the afternoon. The Cobras spread four base hits across the nine innings, but could never get things going. Kody Hanna, Jackson Williams, Tripp Kimmel, and Zack Wall accounted for the Coker hits. 

The Cobras return to the field this Friday (Apr. 22) when they host No. 16 Newberry College in game one of the final South Atlantic Conference series of the regular season. First pitch is scheduled for 3pm, with live video and statistics available at www.cokercobras.com
