In game one, Lincoln Memorial took the early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning but the Cobras answered in the top of the third. Reilly Hall drew a walk then stole second to put himself in scoring position. Bryan Castillo singled into left field to score Hall and even things at 1-1.

Coker took the lead in the top of the fifth when Andrew Scudder reached on a two base error and advanced to third on a wild pitch. Scudder came across to score on an Ashby Vining RBI fielder's choice.
