Cobras Host Pivotal Series with Lincoln Memorial this Weekend

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker baseball will play a pivotal South Atlantic Conference series with Lincoln Memorial this weekend (April 15-16).

The Cobras won one out of three in last weekend's SAC series with Mars Hill, winning Friday's game 6-3 behind Dallas Baldwin's complete game effort.

On the season, the Cobras are 24-16 and 9-9 in South Atlantic Conference play. Miguel Frias and Will Winslow are tied for 12th in the conference each hitting .377.  Friday starter Dallas Baldwin owns a 2.85 earned run average on the year, good for third in the conference.

Lincoln Memorial comes into the series with a 24-16 overall record and a 10-8 mark in South Atlantic Conference play. They are led offensively by Eric Kalman who is hitting .372 on the year, 12th best in the conference. 

First pitch on Friday is set for 3:00 p.m. at Tom J. New Field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
