Cobras Welcome Hawks for Four-Game Set this Weekend

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker baseball is set to host Chowan University in a four-game series this weekend (Feb. 6-7). Live stats for the games will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras last action came in their home opener on Tuesday in which they defeated St. Andrews 11-3. Ryan Milner tossed 6.1 innings scattering five hits and two runs, one earned for the quality start. The right-handed junior also struck out five and only surrendered one walk. Six Cobras notched multi-hit games in the effort. Darius Coldiron shined in the contest, going 3-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored. 

The Hawks will open their 2016 season this weekend, after going 21-20 overall and 9-7 in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association play in 2015.

First pitch for both days is set for 12:00 p.m. at Tom J. New Field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
