Game Two

The Huskies evened things at two with a pair of runs in the top of the third, but Harfst belted a two run homer over the left center fence to give the Cobras back their two run lead.

After a scoreless fourth, Bloomsburg struck again in the fifth, this time it was Allen driving a ball deep into the right center gap for his second RBI triple of the day, cutting the Coker lead to just one. A batter later, Carlos Medina hit a screamer past the infield to bring home Allen and tie the game at four. Coker managed to get out of the inning without anymore damage, thanks to a sweet little 6-4-3 double play.

The Huskies took their first lead of the game in the game in the sixth, as Anthony Forman crushed a two out triple to the wall in right and then Donofry had a swinging bunt that caught Amann off guard at third, allowing Forman to score, giving Bloomsburg a 5-4 lead.

The Cobras got within striking distance in the bottom half of the sixth, as Lynch got things started with a two out infield single, then a walk and a hit batter, loaded the bases for Walker. With a full count and two outs, Mike Rossetti froze Walker with a questionable outside strike to shut the door on the Cobra attack.

In the bottom of the seventh, Amann led things off with a single to right and then advanced to second on a passed ball. Harfst then lined a base hit to right center scoring Amann and tying the game at five with just one out.  Harfst then stole second on the very first pitch of the next at bat, putting himself in scoring position. Will Poole (Pelion, SC) hit a 1-0 single to right field scoring Harfst and giving the Cobras a 6-5 win.

Matt Long (Florence, SC) (1-0) earned his first win of the season, going 2.2 innings, allowing one run on three hits.
