ANDERSON, S.C. -- Tony Graham’s double in the sixth inning gave Anderson University a 7-6 victory over Coker to complete a three-game sweep Saturday afternoon at Anderson Memorial Stadium.
With the sweep, Anderson (23-26, 12-9) completes its third CVAC sweep of the season.


The loss drops Coker to 17-27, 9-12.


Coker’s Ryan Schaeffer hit a two-run double in the second inning and scored on a triple by Brian Nally to give the Cobras a 4-0 lead.


In the top of the third, Ben Davidson blasted a solo home run over the left field fence, but the Trojans answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning to cut the Coker lead to 5-2.


Anderson used four hits and a sacrifice fly to score three runs and tie the game at 5 in the fourth inning.


The Cobras loaded the bases with no outs in the sixth but scored just one run when Cory Welch got stuck out Davidson to end the threat.


Anderson responded with a lead off single by Josh Harrison to start off the bottom of the sixth. Alex Roberson sacrificed Harrison to second. B.J. Smith tripled to score Harrison and tie the game at 6. Smith scored on Graham’s game-winning double.


Welch earned his first win of the season by allowing just one hit in three innings of work.
Kyle Strickland was saddled with the loss for the Cobras.


The Trojans were led offensively by Graham, who was 3-for-4 with two RBI, and by Smith, who was 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored.


Davidson led the Cobras by going 2-for-3 with two RBI.


Anderson will host Augusta State Tuesday at 6 p.m.
