DUE WEST, SC---Erskine split a double header with Coker Saturday, winning game one 10-7 and losing game two 5-2. In game one, Erskine was led at the plate by freshman Bryan Fogle who was 3-5 with two doubles and four RBI's. Chas Anthony and Keith Hill were both 2-4 with two doubles for Erskine, Ryan Price was 2-5 with a double. William Buzhardt picked up his third win of the season, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out five in five innings of work. Jake Williams picked up his 10th save of the season, putting him four saves from tying the NCAA Division II career record. The Fleet were led in game two by Shelton Cisson who was 2-3 with a double, while Anthony was 1-3 with an RBI. Matt Wurzer was also 1-3 with a double in the loss. Huitt Scarborough took the loss, allowing one run in two innings of work, before leaving in the third after taking a line drive to his non throwing arm. Erskine is now 19-11 overall and 8-7 in the CVAC
