Hartsville, SC- Coker College Head Baseball Coach, Dave Schmotzer, announced the signing of Josh Wine and Chad Austin to a National Letters of Intent to play baseball for the Cobras for 2006-2007.

Wine a native of Hilton Head, SC, is a catcher for Hilton Head Christian, a role he will continue to play at Coker in the fall.

Wine said, “I’m looking forward to the Coker experience, both on the field and in the classroom.”

Austin a native of Kershaw, SC, and a senior at North Central High School, is a left-handed pitcher for the Knights.

Coach Schmotzer said, “We are very happy to have Chad and Josh join the Coker family, they are great players and a great people. I look forward to coaching them both and I think they will have bright futures here at Coker.”
