Denmark, SC- The Coker Baseball Team got a much needed win over Voorhees College on Tuesday with a score of 16-1. With the win the Cobras broke their five game skid.

 

Sophomore starter Jesse Hatchell (1-2) picked up his first win of the season tossing six innings, allowing only one run on two hits and a walk, while striking out eight.

 

Leading the Cobra offense was Ben Davidson going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run scored. Brian Johanson was near perfect going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs scored, while Steve Evans and Nic Fletcher also added two hits each for the Cobras.

 

Coker returns home on Wednesday, March 8, to face the Spartans of the University of South Carolina Upstate at 2:00 p.m.
