HARTSVILLE, SC – Coker rolled over SUNY Institute of Technology 12-2 Thursday afternoon in a make-up collegiate baseball game.  CC got back to .500 with the win at 15-15 and will take on Mt. Olive College Friday and Saturday in a three-game series.  

In the first inning the Cobras scored four runs before SUNY IT recorded an out and added another run on a single by Ben Davidson.  Coker scored once in the second and again in the fourth before putting another five runs on the board in the fifth inning.

The first four batters reached on three walks and a hit batsman to make it 8-2 in the fifth.  An RBI ground out, a sacrifice fly and a Wildcat error helped CC score five runs in the inning while getting only one hit.

Junior Eric Losten went 1-2 with two runs scored and two RBI for Coker.  Conrad Deese, T.J. Dawson, and Brian Nally all garnered two hits, two RBI and a run scored.  Freshman Phil LeMoine earned the victory, going three innings in relief with two hits and one earned run allowed while striking out three.
