WILSON, NC—Coker didn’t measure up at Barton Saturday in a baseball doubleheader sweep, falling 20-1 in game one and 10-9 in game two.  The Cobras are now 11-13 on the season and 5-6 in the CVAC.

Coker trailed Barton 3-1 after three innings but BC scored three in the fourth, six in sixth, five in the seventh and three more in the eighth to blow the game open.  Dustin Dockter went 2-3 in the game and Eric Losten went 1-3 with a RBI.

In the seven-inning second game the Cobras built an 8-0 lead through the top half of the sixth inning but Barton roared back with four in the fifth and five in the sixth to tie the score at 9-9.  The Bulldogs won the game in the ninth when a wild pitch by Seth Weinberg allowed the winning run to race home.
 
Ben Kershner went 3-4 with a homerun and three runs scored and Weinberg went 2-3 with two RBI and a run scored.  Dockter went 2-4 with a homer, three RBI and a run scored.

The Cobras and Barton complete the three-game series tomorrow afternoon, March 13, with a 1:00 PM game.
