Karen Pinckney Floyd

A native of Okatie, South Carolina, was a standout member of the Cobra women's basketball team. She is Coker's all-time scoring leader from 1996 to 2006, with 1,372 career points. Floyd also set the single-season record for three-point field goals made with 76 during the 1993-1994 season. She was an All-Conference selection, named to the Mars Hill University Tournament All-Tournament Team, and a four-time Dean's List honoree. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Education, Floyd had a successful teaching and coaching career. She was named Athletic Director at St. Gregory the Great Catholic School and founded the school's athletic programs. Floyd is currently a Theology teacher and basketball coach at John Paul II Catholic School in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
