Griffin Speaks at NCAA/NACWAA Symposium

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College Vice President for Athletics and Facilities, Dr. Lynn Griffin, served as on panelist at the 2014 NCAA/NACWAA Women’s Leadership Symposium (WLS) on Tuesday, May 20, in Charlotte, N.C.

Dr. Griffin, along with Jennifer Chow the Assistant Marketing Director at Louisiana State University and Suzette McQueen the Associate Director of the Davidson Athletic Fund at Davidson University, spoke on strategies and techniques to successfully negotiate a career in collegiate athletics.

“It was an honor to be a part of this amazing symposium,” said Griffin.  “I know how difficult it can be to break into athletics, and it is my pleasure to be able to help future collegiate administrators and coaches.”

The NCAA/NACWAA WLS was developed for women aspiring to or just beginning a career in intercollegiate athletics. This program aims to enrich participants’ skills, expand their professional network and promote the recruitment and retention of women working in intercollegiate athletics administration.
