Wrestling

- Nine Cobra wrestlers placed fourth or better at the King Open last week. Charlie Huff (125-lb), Derek Booth (174-lb) and Austin Akins (285-lb) each placed second in their respective weight classes. Derrick Nelson (133-lb), RaSean McArthur (141-lb), Jordan Tague (149-lb) and Shabo Gorial (157-lb) placed third in their weight classes, while Curtis Harris (141-lb) and Zach Dicus (165-lb) took fourth in their matches. The Cobras will take a week off for the holiday and then return to the mat on Dec. 2 at home against Belmont Abbey.
Women’s Basketball
- This week’s games:
- Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. (A) – Catawba
- Last week’s games:
- Augusta (L) – 75-68
- Barton (L) – 73-64
- UNC Pembroke (L) – 63-51
- The Coker women return to action this week in their first South Atlantic Conference test of the season at Catawba.
Men’s Basketball
- This week’s games:
- Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. (A) – Catawba
- Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (A) - Limestone
- Last week’s games:
- Limestone (W) – 78-61
- The Cobras are off to a 3-0 start, their best start since the 2008-09 season, after a 78-61 win over Limestone in their home opener. This week the Cobras will hit the road for their first SAC game of the season at Catawba.
