Four Cobras Name to This Year's Academic All-District

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
 
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 16 (women) and April 17 (men). The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.

Up first we have Kristynn Knight.  Knight is a sophomore guard on the Coker University women's basketball team. She is majoring in Biology and has achieved an impressive GPA of 3.863. Kristyn recently won Academic All-District honors for her outstanding academic achievements while also excelling on the basketball court. She is a dedicated student-athlete who demonstrates a strong work ethic both in her studies and in her athletic pursuits. Kristynn is a valuable member of the team and a role model for her peers.

Up next we have Dasia Lambert. Lambert is a junior guard on the Coker women's basketball team. She excels both on the court and in the classroom, as she was awarded Academic All-District honors for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. Dasia is majoring in Physical Education and is dedicated to her academic and athletic pursuits. Her hard work and determination make her a valuable asset to the team.

Wrapping it up on the women's side we have Dominique Rodriguez. Rodriguez is a senior guard for the Coker women's basketball team. She is majoring in Business Administration and has maintained an impressive 3.596 GPA. In addition to her success on the court, Dominique has also excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All-District honors for her academic achievements. She is a dedicated student-athlete who demonstrates hard work and determination both on and off the court. Dominique's commitment to excellence in all aspects of her life makes her a valuable asset to the Coker women's basketball team.

On the men's side, we have Tate Mulkey. Tate Mulkey is a senior guard for the Coker University men's basketball team. In addition to his skills on the court, Mulkey excels in the classroom as well, earning Academic All-District honors for his outstanding academic achievements. He is majoring in Business Administration and maintains an impressive GPA of 3.514. Mulkey's dedication to both his sport and his studies showcases his commitment to excellence in all aspects of his collegiate experience.
