Andre Leavell Named Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Coker junior forward Andre Leavell was named to the 2024 Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List, announced Monday afternoon by Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee.

Leavell has scored 21.3 points per game, shooting a commendable 55.1% from the field. Leavell has also showcased his accuracy from behind the arc, with a 3-point shooting percentage of 37.0. Leavell contributes to the team's rebounding efforts by grabbing an average of 5.1 rebounds per game. He also displays excellent playmaking skills, averaging 4.9 assists per game. He has had multiple games with over 25 points scoring 29 twice, 32, and a season high of 36 in a win vs. Newberry. 


The Top 100 Watch List consists of some top players from NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA. The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics, individual achievements, awards, personal character, and team achievements. This is an incredibly prestigious award, as this award will only be given to one player within Small College Basketball per season.


On February 15th, the list will be reduced to the Top 50 players. One month later, on March 15th, the Top 25 players will be announced. The finalists and Bevo Francis Award winner announcement release date is TBD. More information will be available in the coming months.
