#OneForCoker 24-Hour Giving Challenge

On March 23, at exactly 12:00 p.m., our third annual #OneForCoker 24-hour giving challenge begins!

Last year, the #OneForCoker 24-hour giving challenge raised just over $25,000 in support of transformative education. This year, we're kicking it up another notch—with an ambitious goal of $30,000 from at least 200 donors. So, more than ever, we need your help to get there.

It all begins March 23 at noon. Spread the word and stay tuned for more information! Together, we're all for one and #OneForCoker!

Men's Volleyball

• This week's games:
  • Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – Barton
• Last week's games:
  • North Greenville (W) – 3-1 (25-21, 25-20, 21-25, 25-18)
  • Emmanuel (W) – 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-15)
• The Cobras defeated North Greenville and Emmanuel last week and have now won four of their last five matches. This week they will hit the road to Barton College on Wednesday.

Baseball

• This week's games:
  • Friday at 3:00 p.m. (A) – Carson-Newman
  • Saturday at 12:00 p.m. (A) – Carson-Newman (DH)
• Last week's games:
  • Bluefield State – 12-9 (W)
  • Tusculum – 2-1 (W) – 12 innings, 12-5 (L), 3-2 (L)
• The Cobra baseball team went 2-2 last week, including a thrilling 2-1, 12 inning victory over Tusculum. This week the Cobras will hit the road for a three-game SAC series at Carson-Newman.  

Men's and Women's Tennis

• This week's matches:
  • Friday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Bluefield State – Florence, S.C. – men only
  • Saturday at 10:00 a.m. (H) – Tusculum
• Last week's matches:
  • None
• The Coker men's tennis team will head over to Florence to take on Bluefield State on Friday. Then both teams will welcome the nationally ranked Tusculum Pioneers to Coker on Saturday.

Softball

• This week's games:
  • Monday at 2:00 p.m. (H)  - Mercyhurst (DH)
  • Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Queens (DH)
  • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Lincoln Memorial (DH)
• Last week's games:
  • Anderson – 2-0 (W), 4-2 (L)
• The Cobra softball team split its SAC series with Anderson last week. This week the Cobras will take the field against Mercyhurst in a non-conference doubleheader, followed by a pair of conference series on the road against Queens on Tuesday and at Lincoln Memorial on Saturday.

Men's Lacrosse

• This week's games:
  • Saturday at 7:00 p.m. (H) – Wingate
• Last week's games:
  • Shorter (W) – 13-11
• The Coker men's lacrosse team picked up its second win in a row last week with a 13-11 victory over Shorter. This week the Cobras will take the field against Wingate in a SAC game on Saturday at home.  

Men's and Women's Track & Field

• This week's meets:
  • Friday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Adidas Winthrop Invitational
  • Saturday at 9:00 a.m. (A) – Adidas Winthrop Invitational
• Last week's meets:
  • Lenoir-Rhyne Power Box Invitational – 3 of 11 – women, 4 of 18 - men
• Last week the Cobras picked up a pair of top-5 team finishes at the Lenoir-Rhyne Power Box Invitational. The women finished third overall and the men came in fourth. This week they will travel to Rock Hill, S.C. to compete in the Adidas Winthrop Invitational.  

Women's Lacrosse

• This week's games:
  • Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. (H) - Merrimack
  • Saturday at 5:00 p.m. (H) – Wingate
• Last week's games:
  • Newberry (W) – 7-6
• The Coker women's lacrosse team picked up a SAC victory over Newberry last week. This week the Cobras welcome Merrimack to Hartsville on Tuesday. They then play host to Wingate on Saturday.   

Women's Golf

• This week's tournaments:
  • Sunday – Monday at Wingate Challenge Invitational at Charlotte, N.C.   
• Last week's tournaments:
  • Coker Women's Invitational – 2 of 6
• Last week the Coker women took home second place at the Coker Women's Invitational. This week they will hit the road to Charlotte, N.C. for the Wingate Challenge Invitational.

Men's Golf

  • Wingate Invitational – 12 of 17
