HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker men's soccer player Daniel Jackson has been selected as the Heritage Community Bank Student-Athletes of the Month for September 2013.

In September, Jackson scored four goals for eight points, while leading the Coker men’s soccer team to a No. 5 regional ranking and a 3-2-2 record. Jackson scored two goals in the Cobras 2-2 draw with Lincoln Memorial and he scored two goals in Coker’s 2-0 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne. For the year he has scored seven goals, including two game-winners for 14 points and he is currently the leading goal scorer in the SAC.
