Cross Country Welcomes Pearson
Head Coach Benny Morgan has added another piece to his 2017-18 recruiting class.

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker head men's and women's cross country coach Benny Morgan announced the addition of Emily Pearson to his 2017-18 recruiting class today.
Pearson journeys to Hartsville from Cheraw High School where she ran cross country and track and field for the Braves. In cross country, she was a two-time Team MVP (2015 and 2016) as well as a two-year team captain. In 2015, she placed seventh at the regional competition while running a personal best 24:27. She also was a SCHSL state qualifier in 2015.
The Cheraw, S.C. native is the daughter of Sharon and Gene Pearson and plans to study education.
