2015-2016: Did not run, but competed in two track meets this season, finishing in sixth at the Wake Forest Invitational in the long jump.
2014-15: Gambrell had an astounding 17 top-10 finishes during his freshman season, including a top-6 finish or better in his final 10 races. He had a pair of runner up finishes, the first coming at the Art and Linda Maillet UNC Open where he posted a season-high 1.95 meters in the High Jump. His other runner-up finish came at the Wingate University Invitational where he posted a mark of 6.38 meters in the Long Jump.
