Bio
2015-2016: Pina ran in all seven races for Coker, finishing inside the top 30 twice. She finished 19th at the CIU Invitational (Sept. 5) in 24:24 and ninth at the FMU Invitational (Oct. 16) with a time of 21:51.
2014-15: Pina ran in six meets this season for the Navy and Yellow, notching two top-15 finishes. Her best performance came at the South Atlantic Conference Championship where she posted a 5k time of 22:14.
2013-14: Did not run this season.
Other College: Pina was a member of the 2012 and 2013 NJCAA National Championship. She finished 10th at the NJCAA Regional. She was a Academic All-American and was two-time Dean's List selection.
High School: She was a three-time state qualifier in cross country and was a member of back-to-back region championship teams. She received the Work-Horse award and received academic awards in art, math and spanish.
Personal: Daughter of Joaquin and Lyla Pina...she has two siblings Jessica and Joaquin Jr.
