2014-15: Kemboi ran in four races, notching one top-10 finish. His best 8k time came at the Royals Challenge where he ran a time of 30:26. His top-ten finish came at the Francis Marion Invitational where he ran a 5k time of 18:20.
High School: Kemboi was a standout cross country runner at Kapsabet High School.
